Kids run into the building excited for a fun day with their friends. On Friday, October 20th, the CMS West Choir went on their annual Epic Waters field trip. They had fun and got to skip school! All five West choirs (6th Grade Girls, 6th Grade Boys, 7/8 Boys, 7/8 Select, 7/8 Treble) sang a song they had been practicing to a judge. They then received a ranking for their singing. All of our choirs got a Superior ranking, which is the highest ranking! For example, the 6th Grade Girls Choir sang Dance of the Willow. Sami, who is in 6th Grade Girls Choir, mentions, “The judge was giving several compliments…” It goes to show how much effort the students and the choir directors (Ms. Hartzell and Ms. Trevino) have put into our choir. Everyone had so much fun, and the CMS West Choir had an amazing time!
